May

These are posted very late. At the beginning of May we took a little trip to Phoenix. Spent some time with a family i adopted while i was in the Army. So here we are at the street festival downtown.

This is the face you get when grandma leaves Ally without saying anything to her. She's 110% Grandma's girl.

And here's what you get when your child is bored on the road trip back and you leave her with the bag of gummy worms. Quite the goofball.

....and Paulo at his best doing his favorite thing
Not much else really went on this month. Now we are getting ready to leave. June 5th we will be on the road to Alabama, with a pitstop at Fort Polk to see Jolie and Pj's kids. Can't wait to see everyone and there will be plenty of pics.

The Zoo

A little late on posting these but here's a few pictures from the zoo on Sunday. It was a pretty nice day out. We had a lot of fun eventhough it was a pretty small zoo. What kind of zoo doesn't have lions...El Paso Zoo. I thought that was crazy. But, we saw plenty of monkeys and other animals. During this week Ally and I have been sick with colds and the flu. It stinks. Oh and other news...we are going to Alabama...which to me is better than Virginia because it's warmer and a little closer to Pj's kids. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Easter!

Sorry to report no pictures this time. The charger to my camera broke so my camera is dead. There's not really too much to say though. Ally has been doing good in school...she just cries everytime i leave. Pj and i have been working out alot...he seems to be losing weight and i just stay the same...ugh it's frustrating. Oh...some may already know but i'm moving again...yes moving again to Fort Lee, Virginia. Pj got orders to leave in June and this time i will follow, well maybe not right away, cuz we have to deal with selling the house but i'll be there sooner than a year this time. I'll keep everyone posted and hopefully have pics soon...probably from my phone.

Just a short note. Ally started Preschool on Tuesday. What an exciting day for her, she's been waiting so long to go to school. She goes from 8:30 til 2:30. It's so nice and peaceful at the house...i can finally get things done :).

Woo Hoo...i think spring has finally arrive here in El Paso. I'm still enjoying my days of leave...i only have one week left :-( Then hopefully i'll have a job...otherwise i'll be mooching off the government for awhile. Hopefully next week Ally will start preschool. I'm so excited...this little smarty pants needs to be with kids and learning stuff i don't have the patience to teach her. ha ha . I finally finished a project...i repainted my swing and bought new cushions...whew...Lowe's undercharged me on the cushions which saved me 20 bucks, so it was definately worth it after that. I've been trying to take Ally to the park but sometimes it gets so windy that we have to go home...good thing it's under a 5 min walk. Every night i get to enjoy beautiful sunsets...the only reason why i like this house. All is good here and life is treating us good.

Had an exciting and busy day today. Alyssa went to the dentist this morning. What a good trip...no cavities and her adult teeth are already starting to grow in. She was so awesome when we were there, cuz if you know Ally she doesn't want to have anything to do with strangers, especially when you're gonna stick things in her mouth. Last time the dentist in Fort Polk had to sedate her to do her exams...such a vast improvement this time. Then we went shopping and she decided it was time to get her ears pierced. What a big girl...only two tears after it was all done. She's so brave. Just wanted to share an excellent day with everyone.

Well not too much is going on, i'm still unpacking. I can't believe how much stuff I have aquired over three years. Now we have no where to put this stuff in the new house. Ally is loving it here, now we just need to find here some friends. She's starting to drive us all crazy. I'm going to start the job searching again. This stay home mom thing isn't for me.

Busy Week

So it's been a busy week for me and it's not gonna slow down. The packers came to the house yesterday and boxed everything up and today the movers came and put everything on the truck. Now the realization of us moving is finally setting in. I turned in all my Army gear on wed. ugh that took all day. But was very much worth it since i don't have any of it laying around the house anymore. Ally was quite the chatter box today with the moving guys...don't ever think i've heard her talk that much, Ever. She's so excited to go live with Daddy. (Just so i'm not confusing anyone, Pj is not her real Dad. Alyssa's real Dad isn't in the picture anymore which is very sad, cuz Ally is an awesome kid. But since Pj has been around for the last 2 years of her life...He is DAddy...and he loves it.) Now we are sleeping on the floor for the next week. Tomorrow is Ally's Birthday party, she officially turns four on Sunday though. They grow so fast.

Just another boring week

Not much new this week. I'm busy rifling threw junk in the house, trying to get rid as much as possible before the packers come. Also trying to get ready for a garage sale, i'm hoping that i get rid everything, our new house in El Paso isn't as big as the one i have here. Ally had lunch with Jolie on Sunday. We've all been trying to spend quality time together as i only have 16 days left in Louisiana. We are all excited to move...except Jolie, we're gonna miss here. Alyssa loves having her picture taken, but she had enough after a while as you can see from the first picture.

Here's to a New Year. We are getting ready for our big move to El Paso. Everyone is so excited, especially Ally, she can't wait to be with Daddy (PJ). Pj came to visit at Christmas and so did his kids (Nathan 7, Destiny 5). It's hard to make the transition from one kid to four, ha ha. I have to take care of everybody, but it's great and i love having all my family around.
